COVID-19 UPDATE - WE'RE SLOWLY OPENING BACK UP
We here at More Fun Comics and Games have been working hard behind the scenes since the ordered shutdowns occurred, and we really appreciate all of your support. We took the opportunity to get some back issues together, rearrange parts of the store, and launch our online store -- all things on our to-do list for this year anyway! The support we've gotten from the Denton community during the last several weeks has been wonderful and we can't thank everyone enough.
We have had lots of requests from customers who want to come into the store to purchase items like dice sets, which just don't look as great online as they do in person, but we were required to be closed to the public. Now that those restrictions are loosening, we want to accommodate as many people we can, and we want to do so as safely as possible.
On Tuesday, our team sat down and talked it over. We all agreed that we can open and function in this limited capacity in a safe manner. We've all missed you and look forward to seeing you in the coming days!
Here’s the nuts and bolts:
On May 1st, More Fun Comics and Games will be opening in a limited capacity at 11am.
For the safety of staff and customers, as well as to comply with state and county orders, the following rules will be in effect:
Delivery, shipping, and curbside pickup will all be available for those who prefer it.
All staff will be wearing masks at all times, and all customers must wear a mask in order to enter the store.
All customers entering the store will be provided with and required to use hand sanitizer or a sanitizing wipe to clean their hands.
All customers are required to practice safe social distancing while in the store, maintaining a distance of at least six feet from all other customers.
We will have a strict limit of no more than five customers in the store at any time.
We ask that customers be respectful of others and keep browsing to a minimum so that others can enter safely and quickly.
More Fun Comics and Games will be open to the public daily from 11am to 5pm.
The More Fun Game Center will remain closed to the public for the time being. Orders for Magic singles can still be placed online for pickup at the Square location.
Finally, also starting Friday, we want to help other local businesses who have no way to operate at all. We will be using a portion of our sales from Friday, May 1st through Thursday, May 7th to purchase gift cards from our friends at Soma Massage Studios. We will then give those gift cards away to customers to use once Soma is able to get back up and running.
