YET ANOTHER COVID-19 UPDATE

Hi everyone!

I hope this post finds you well and in good health. I was all revved up to do a post about my trip to GAMA in Reno last week and all the cool new items and games I saw there, but while I was gone, things got crazy very quickly. I was sitting at dinner last Wednesday night when my phone beeped and told me the NBA had suspended operations. That’s the moment when it really hit me things were going to be different…and that feels like a year ago now given the events of the last nine or ten days.

First of all, a huge thank you to our customers who have supported us over the last week and a half. We’ve been doing deliveries, shipping, and working hard to get things ramped up online so we can continue to ship even if a full statewide shut down happens like has happened elsewhere.

While circumstances change every hour it seems, there’s some things I can share today that will help lay the path for where we go from here.

Shipping and delivery are going to be available as long as USPS is up and running. If you’re in Denton city limits, we’ll deliver just about any order for an additional $5 fee, or for free if it is over $50. If you’re further out, we’ve set up very reasonable shipping rates and can get you a quote in no time.

For this week at least, new comics are still coming in! If you’re a subscriber, we’ll be happy to charge you and ship or do curbside pick up if you like as well. If you can’t get your books due to lack of funds, do please let us know asap. We absolutely understand, but it will help us tweak our ordering so we don’t end up with lots of excess books.

That list is the items showing up in our store each week. Also you can check out Previewsworld.com for a full list of every item shipping.

If you’re more into games or puzzles of graphic novels, we can ship those too, just email us or give the store a call during business hours to get the ball rolling!

That said, with all the nearby bars and restaurants either closed or on very limited hours, we’ll be following that route as well. Starting Monday the 23rd, we will start closing at 7pm, so do come out early. On the bright side, there’s plenty of parking on the Square!
